mtvh1n1 was formed in Tampa, FL in 2017 out of a determination to fuse together their favorite elements of art rock, post punk, and pop music. Drawing heavy influence from bands like The Beach Boys, This Heat, Wire, Women, and Faust, mtvh1n1 sought to focus on writing songs that fused together the strong melodies of pop songs and the experimental song structures of art rock. Danny Dalen (guitar/vocals) Stratton Roberts (bass/vocals) and Tim Anderson (drums/vocals) recorded their self-titled record over 2017 and 2018 themselves live on a 4-track intending to capture a more raw and honest recording of the songs they had crafted together.

Feeble little horse is a 4-piece band that writes intricately catchy, digitized, noise pop songs.feeble little horse started as the recording project of Sebastian Kinsler and Ryan Walchonski in the South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Most songs are written and recorded in the same afternoon: the duo fumbles with guitar riffs and countless alternate tunings, and hits record once a song begins to materialize. Ryan’s roommate Jake Kelley soon joined as the band’s drummer, utilizing the compact drumset in their living room. This trio released the debut EP “modern tourism”, with psychedelic album art contributed by future member Lydia Slocum.
Pulling values and structures from multiple corners of the east coast underground, Family Vision’s penchant for concise statements and bleating rhythms come directly from their roots in the hardcore-leaning house show circuits of the Southeast, but are crucially injected with the ambitious and restless sonic processes of the big city post-punk canon. Arrangement choices are lifted from the harmonic playbook of Pere Ubu, Wire and Orange Juice, but take timely departure to the chiming hooks and ennui ridden lyrical spunk of their generation’s indie rock.

Them Airs emerged out of the swamps of South Haven, Connecticut, before slithering north to Meriden to languish beneath the facade of Castle Craig. They fill any area they inhabit with a disgusting miasma of sound, and should be avoided at all costs. Please report any sightings to local (or regional) authority figures.
